1:8 high pressure glue pump

Electronic controlled, air driven high pressure glue pump. The pump unit has two single acting plunger pumps, who are controlled in such a way that one is always in its pressure stroke when the other reverses, to avoid a pressure drop in the output line.

The seal of the pump is of the dry running type, and does not need oil or continuous lubrication or adjustments to operate. However it is advised to keep the stem oiled to avoid eventual glue to dry on it.

The pump unit has two filters, one on the inlet and one on the outlet.

A sensor measures the level of glue in the glue container, and can warn the operator.

The pressure regulator with proportional valve is standard mounted on the outlet of the pump. It reduces the pump pressure to a usable maximum of 28 bar.

If multiple glue guns are connected, the regulator can be mounted on the manifold in the machine, to allow non-reduced glue transport to the machine, and thus shorten the length of the lower pressure part in the glue lines to the glue guns.

Lubrication not necessary.

Tested with 20° air temperature – 900 mPas glue viscosity
