CP/O AV RUNNER
Control panel for casemaker/flexo foldergluer machine
Electronic 4 channel control panel, able to drive up to 4 glue distributors. This control panel has been especially studied for gluing systems for casemaker/flexo folder-gluer machines.
Up to 4 photo-eyes (usually laser type) can be connected to this controller.
On the front panel, 8 function keys give the operator the possibility to set all the functions. A Manual, Automatic or Semi – Automatic mode can be set. Setting the Automatic function, the operator has to indicate (the first time only), the flap angle and the gap without glue on the flap only. In fact, having the gluing angle and the gap without glue the box must have, the controller is able to calculate all the other measures automatically. The numeric keyboard or the selection knob can be used to set and enter values. For every glue distributors 2 start/end combinations can be set in Manual mode.
When the system is running the display of the control panel shows the machine speed in m/min and which is the laser photo-eyes that is reading. A warning or indicator light is installed on the top of the controller to inform the operator that his attention is requested, than additional information will be displayed. Usually three channels are busy for 3 distributors and the fourth channel is used for the marker. In fact a glue detector and a marker can be installed as optional to mark wrong boxes detective by the device.
An RS 232 communication port is installed.
