12” touch screen control panel

The electronic control panel works up to 96 channels. 4 sections complete with 24 channels each can be connected to the control panel.

The 24 channels are driven by 3 mother boards. Each mother board drives up to 8 channels and to each mother board up to 8 photo-eyes can be connected.

Examples of function settings:

• Change dot size
• Change programs
• Change speed from glue dots to glue line
• Auto-cleaning slide setting which prevents the formation of dried glue inside the nozzles
• Glue pattern length setting
• Glue gun cleaning
• Enabling and disabling of guns

All important parameters are protected by passwords. 8 start/stop glue pattern combinations can be set for each glue dispenser. Each photo-eye can be connected to one of the installed glue dispensers.

A page displaying which photo-eye is being read and the dispenser it is connected to. This page also indicates which dispenser is functioning and which is disabled.

4 extra functions allow operators to consider more than 1 glue dispenser as 1 block. This makes it easier to set measurements for functions such as: crash-lock, 4 corners, 6 corners and special boxes. An alarm warns the operator when glue levels are low.

Many programs may be saved and re-opened later using the internal memorizing system or on an external USB key. All programs can be re-opened by calling them with a number or a name. Up to 4 Touch Screens can be connected to 4 different parts of the machine. The control panel can communicate directly with the serial doors RS232 and RS 422.

A common Touch Screen is able to drive the gluing system, glue detector, bar code reader and Braille system onto the same machine.
